Abstract

ANVUR is the Italian Agency responsible for the evaluation of the italian university system and italian research. It establishes criteria of evaluation and its results influence the allocation of public funds to research. However, the approach and the evaluation methods adopted by ANVUR could undermine a pluralistic research; we will explore this issue with a focus on economics.
